   Dear Joel,

   After my senior prom, my friends and I decided we wanted to go on a cruise boat around NYC. While on the boat I was walking from deck to deck to look for some friends. I walked in on a comedy show that was going on and the comedian took advantage of that and embarressed me in front of everyone (including my peers which at the time was a HUGE deal).

   Until this past year I despised comedy shows, but my roommate is totally into comedy and dragged me along to keep her company. I had my reservations about attending (even sat all the way in the back of the room in the dark for fear of being called out by a comedian). Since that first show I have been to four of your shows in Hoboken. I can say that SoulJoel shows have changed my entire perception of comedy. One of my favorite parts is that the comedians generally stick around until after the show to hangout.

   Thank you for showing me comedy in a different light!

   I got in contact with Soul Joel about possibly putting on a fund-raising show to help me raise money for a group of kids living in an orphanage in Peru. Joel immediately got back to me and within 3 weeks had a show planned at Kopperfields in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. It was absolutely the funniest comedy show I’ve ever been to. A bunch of people came up after the show saying they had never laughed so hard, and the show definitely exceeded their expectations. A special thanks to Soul Joel, Yannis, & Maddog for performing at the fund-raiser and for being so incredibly funny. I’ll definitely be attending more of SoulJoel’s shows in the future. THANKS JOEL!

   I’ve been a huge fan of SOUL JOEL PRODUCTIONS since I saw my first show back in January. I listen to the Comedy Point every week….and if I don’t catch it LIVE, I play it later on the archives. It is such a great way to start off or end my day….with some SOUL Thanks again….you all are THE best and always know how to make me laugh!

   I just had to write to tell you how phenomenal I think your show is. My friends and I were at the Rivers Edge Cafe in Red Bank on Thursday and saw Joel, Jimmy Q, and Joe Bronzi. My friends and I had just seen a famous comedian at the Borgata in Atlantic City on Saturday, and were not expecting this show to come close to comparing to him. However, we laughed just as hard, if not harder, till we were crying, with you guys!!! We were amazed at how good the show was. We can’t wait to see you again on April 9th!!!!!

   Thanks for coming to Binghamton. I wanted to find you guys online to see if you are going to be in the area again b/c I was having a horrible night until the comedy show…and wanted to say thank you for making my night!!!!!!!! I haven’t laughed so hard at a comedy show in a long time. KEEP IT UP!

   Joel,

   It was a pleasure seeing you and your staff perform at our Companies Holiday Party this past December. Our expectations going to the party was that we would be seeing just some simple entertainment, but we could not believe how well you and your staff adopted to the audience and the nature of their business. We were all pleasantly surprised and entertained during those few hours. It was nice to forget all the tough issues we face during the normal business day for a few hours. Everyone was talking about the show for days, everyone truly enjoyed it!!

   Great job on a Job well done!!

   Loooved the show! My boyfriend and I went for a little entertainment and laughs and got so much more! We found ourselves talking about the jokes weeks later and laughing to ourselves.

   Because we had such a great experience, when we went to vegas we payed $100 for both of us to go to a comedy show. We were super disappointed. Soul Joel was waaaaayy funnier!

   Soul Joel Productions caught me by surprise. Going to what I thought was a small gathering for a fundraiser, ended up being a room with a fully packed audience and hilarious comics. Men and woman, young and old , were slapping their knees with laughter as these comedians poked fun at themselves, the crowd, and people they were close to. After the show Joel Richardson and Kenny Michaels were so pleasant to be around, it makes me want to attend more shows!

   Keep up the fabulous work! You never know when a casting director or agent will snatch you up!

    Joel was so personable with everyone in his audience, and has kept up with his “people” either through emails or facebook and has responded personally with all that inquired… I LOVE Soul Joel and would recommend that everyone come to any show that he has in ur town! LOVE HIM!

    I was at the Soul Joel comedy show in Uniontown, PA on May 29th and it was a must see, the comedians were spectacular. For those that missed out on this show, you missed out on a lot of laughter. I would definitely recommend people to go see Soul Joel comedy shows because trust me you don’t want to miss out on great fun and great laughter at these comedy shows, they are wonderful guys who bring a lot of laughter to people and they are real genuine. If you haven’t been to a comedy show, you are really missing out and I definitely recommend all of you to go to the comedy shows and experience these great comedians. I can’t wait till the next comedy show.

    I saw Soul and Yannis in NJ a few weeks back. The entire show was hilarious. Good to see that comedy can still be well produced.

    Holiday Inn Manahawkin.

    Joel thanks for coming down and doing the show in Manahawkin for the Barnegat Lacrosse Team. Mike Gaffney, Jimmy Q, and yourself where hiliarious. The players on my team loved it and are looking forward to the next show next year.
    This is the second year that you came down and you did not disappoint at all. The material was great from all of the comedians and there wasn’t a person who wasn’t laughing the whole night.

    My friends and I enjoyed the show you did for the Barnegat Boys Lacrosse on March 21st at the Holiday Inn in Manahawkin. You guys were hysterical. Great Job!!!!

    Went to the show at Holiday Inn in New Cumberland PA AWESOME it was refreshing to see true comedians. Great show will be there every time they preforme. If you are in the area this is the show to see. Laughed my ass off. I hope they do more shows at HI Loved it.

    Dear Joel,
    Thank you so much for your sympathies. It is still months later… a hard thing to deal with. Craig was a wonderful man and will never be replaced. In some ways he is closer to me now that he is gone. He is in my heart every where I go. I think of him constantly.
    I truly do feel that what ever comes of doing comedy I can be proud that I make for a few moments life fun and enjoyable for others. What a great thing that is.
    Feel free to place my comment on your site. I am totally supportive of your mission. Your thoughtfulness and work ethic is to be admired.
    I would be honored to share a stage with you anytime you might ask.

    I saw Joel and his crew in Uniontown in September and I had the time of my life! I’m so looking forward to him coming back in January!!!! He puts on a ‘can’t miss’ production and I plan to catch him every chance I get. I highly recommend the experience to anyone and everyone!

    Hey hey !!! I just wanted to thank souljoel prodeuctions for cominng out to SUNY purchase and giving us a night of fun!!!! i enjoyed the entire thing, and jimmyQ you’re awesomeeeee…. you had all of us thinking something you were not!!!!! it was hilarious!!!! im so glad I got to experience my first comedy show with you guys. I would not have wanted it any other way Thank you guys once again and the purchase cheerleaders love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!

    SoulJoel Productions came to SUNY Purchase to help fundraise for our cheerleaders and put on a hilarious show … They had everyone laughing for the entire show, and everyone had a great time. We got to talk with the comedians after and let them know how funny they were. Thanks again for coming and hope to see you guys again soon !!!!

    Thank you guys sooooo much for helping out the cheerleaders from SUNY Purchase and putting on an amazing show! Everyone had such a great time and were still in stitches long after the show! This is such a different thing for students at SUNY so we really appreciate you guys. Please come again! You guys were super funny and i would definetely recommend Soul Joel to anyone that wants to have a great time! Please come again!!!

    I really would like to thank SoulJoel Productions for coming out to SUNY Purchase for a night of fun and laughter. I really enjoyed all the skits and found everyone to be hilarous. The night ended with everyone smiling and glad they came. They were extremely nice and friendly and I do hope they come again.

    I think the show was halarious and am glad to say that there was hardly a dull moment. Not to mention that their humor was accompanied by their pleasant and friendly attitudes and that they were nice enough to perform at SUNY Purchase for us. I really do hope i see you guys again!     Hey, so everyone reading this, SoulJoel Productions is FANTASTIC!! They put on an unbelievable show at SUNY Purchase College and had everyone dying of laughter….even the ones being made fun of. So thanks guys for coming we had a great time and hope to see you all back sometime soon!!!!

    Post Gotham 8/13/08:
    Good afternoon, Gentlemen.
    Thanks again to all of you for making last night’s show such a great success. Between Soul Joel’s hosting, all of our friends coming out, Karl bringing half of Staten Island, Joel bringing Amber to keep us in check, and Dean knocking one way out of the park and leaving over 70 people at a standing room only show wanting more, more, more…we can all be proud of the show we put on last night. I don’t have the numbers yet, but we had to raise over $300, likely closer to $400 that will go directly to Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Pediatric Cancer Center.
    So, thank you all again for everything. I look forward to working with you all again in the near future.
    Thanks as well to Scotty as well for taking a bunch of great pix. I have attached the final picture that was taken right before the battery ran out and it’s a keeper. Phew! I’ll put the rest of them up on photobucket and send you the link.
    Have a great weekend.
    And, as always, keep em laughing til they cry and beg you to stop. (See Richie? Crying isn’t always a bad thing.)
