“Soul” Joel has been in the comedy business for over two years now and has come a long way. His career began as a frat boy urged to do stand up in front of a large Wagner College crowd. It was such a success he tried his hand in front of family and friends and has ran with it starting his own production company and performing high energy shows all over the northeast. Soul Joel Productions, New York’s latest comedy craze, established in September 2007, has built relationships and set up monthly shows in Staten Island, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. Each Soul Joel Production brings in award winning headliners from comedy’s best media including Comedy Central, Sirius Satellite Radio, XM Radio, Cringe Humor, and Opie & Anthony. Hey Joel,
I found you because I am a member of the Red Tie Mafia and your name was on the website. I am getting in touch with you because I am producing shows for a website called Live-Laughs.com. It is a website dedicated to filming live comedy shows from all over the U.S. for free and putting together a professionally edited copy for the website. The website just launched on Sept. 22nd and some of the acts we have put up already have included stand-up, improv, and musical comedy. The acts get free publicity (including a copy of the edited show) and the website gets publicity from the acts.
