After my senior prom, my friends and I decided we wanted to go on a cruise boat around NYC. While on the boat I was walking from deck to deck to look for some friends. I walked in on a comedy show that was going on and the comedian took advantage of that and embarressed me in front of everyone (including my peers which at the time was a HUGE deal).

Until this past year I despised comedy shows, but my roommate is totally into comedy and dragged me along to keep her company. I had my reservations about attending (even sat all the way in the back of the room in the dark for fear of being called out by a comedian). Since that first show I have been to four of your shows in Hoboken. I can say that SoulJoel shows have changed my entire perception of comedy. One of my favorite parts is that the comedians generally stick around until after the show to hangout.

Thank you for showing me comedy in a different light!

It was a pleasure seeing you and your staff perform at our Companies Holiday Party this past December. Our expectations going to the party was that we would be seeing just some simple entertainment, but we could not believe how well you and your staff adopted to the audience and the nature of their business. We were all pleasantly surprised and entertained during those few hours. It was nice to forget all the tough issues we face during the normal business day for a few hours. Everyone was talking about the show for days, everyone truly enjoyed it!!

Because we had such a great experience, when we went to vegas we payed $100 for both of us to go to a comedy show. We were super disappointed. Soul Joel was waaaaayy funnier!
