Soul Joel began his stand-up career as a frat boy urged to get on stage when nominated for “Mr. Wagner,” competition at Wagner College on Staten Island. Since that time, he’s been performing high-energy shows all over the Northeast.

In 2007, Joel decided to expand his horizons in the comedy industry and started Soul Joel Productions with business partner Scott Chamberlin.  Together they built lasting relationships and set up monthly shows at venues all over the east coast.  To date, they have set up shows in 13 states using a network of over 300 comedians. 

In 2009, Joel decided to create his own radio show on WTBQ 99.1 FM in Orange County, NY. The Comedy Point, a name created by Scott Chamberlin co-founder of Soul Joel Productions, provides a wide range of opinions from guests and co-hosts alike while keeping it light and humorous.

The Comedy Point is proud to announce it’s NEW HOME in South Jersey, where SOUL Joel grew up in Burlington County on WIFI 1460 AM.

The best part of SOUL Joel could be his magnetic personality with endless energy. His quick whit and charm make him a great comedian and the perfect fit as host of The Comedy Point.
