GEORGE – For graphic arts and design students at McKee Career & Technical High School, it was no laughing matter when Staten Island comedy producer “Soul Joel” Richardson asked them to design a new logo for his radio show. After four successful seasons on the air, Richardson, the show’s host and producer, believed his show, “The Comedy Point” was ready for a new look. Deciding that look would be best if it came from graphic design students at McKee, he reached out to Leo Gordon, head of McKee’s graphic arts and design program, to have Gordon’s students design a logo for the show.
